Sure can. I work in front of a computer all day, listening to music on my PSP. I'm a band, I write music on my computer, I go to concerts and clubs and parties all the time... I have robot toys on my desk, and MST3K DVDs in my DVD rack.

I *am* one... welcome to the 21st century - geeks are not all hapless social rejects or hermits living in somebody's basement.

I don't know about crazy parties, but I do very much enjoy going to concerts when I can. I'm not into hard rock anymore, but it wasn't that long ago when I was into Manson and still very much a geek.

I am one of those rare beings you are asking about! I'm not a gamer, but greatly love groovy gizmos- and hacking them too!. My network cam might show you a bit- but I'm not up for publishing its address in a public forum.

There is a band rehearsal here at my house about twice a week. My hubby is a musician, and I do quite a bit of live recording for them, and their website too.

I'm a huge geek, but also military (yay for stuff blowing up!) and a burning man attendee. Burning Man is many things to many different people -- a community, an art experiment, a big camping trip, a spiritual experience -- but it cannot be denied that there is MUCH partying there!
