I'm working on a big project. Specifically a Gril Gamer web site. Now I figure that among all these geek girls there must be girl gamers to :o)
So I've got my basics, but what I'd like to ask is, what would you like to see in a girl gamer website? What would make you keep coming back?

A girl gamer alwways wish to see games!
You could like have your own little ratings of games, upcoming new cool games ppl should look into, and have like a forum where ppl could also post on any cool new games coming up. plus other little odds and ends gamers like...and geeks :) And maybe little games made on like Multimeia fusion oor something..i dont know...im just throwing anything i've got out there to yu

This site is very interesting. I've come upon it during a Google search. I'm still new to it, but from what little I've seen, I've liked. Maybe you can pick up a few odds and ends from there.
The two biggest things for me are a respectable place to conversate with women of like minds, and also how women are impacting or making an impression in the world of gaming. -

Mon, August 15, 2005 - 7:45 AMOne of my main goals of the site will to make it a gamer site first. It won't be based on age and it won't be conscending in any form. I know what you mean about it being a respectable place, alot of girl gamers sites are a bit girl power, which doesn't suit me. On the other hand the site won't be overtly girl girl girl. I'm aiming to strike a balance between the two.
There will be a forum, so hopefully being able to converse with other like minded female gamers will happen. And also there will be plenty of female view articles and interviews with females in the gaming industry.

Tue, August 9, 2005 - 10:53 AMMaybe something related to age? What a 40 year old gamer chick might like, could be vastly different than someone who is 20? I'm an old school pen & paper gamer, but have gone into MMOs the last few years.
Most of the stuff I find geared towards females tends to hit the younger folks. Maybe articles on the challenges of computer/console gaming for the older crowd? -

Mon, August 15, 2005 - 7:42 AMFunny you should mention TT games, cause that will be included also on the site once its up. The overall feel of the site is that of a gamer site that won't be directed at any particular age group. If it has to do with gaming, it'll be there.
