I did the whole TechTool Pro Version 4 thing last night. I read the entire manual; It is very well written and interesting. I learned more about the file system and some valuable new troubleshooting tricks.

There was nothing awry with my gear hardware wise. There were fragmented files and disk space I needed to optimize (= defragment). That took HOURS.

This morning the Powerbook feels tight and together! I'll keep how things go posted the next couple of days.

Keep your fingers crossed. Mine are!

Now time for a dog walk and a nap...
