I'm a geek, I worship geek girls. I figure this would be an appropriate tribe.
Credentials: World of Warcraft junkie, Nintendo addict, spent extra time in school just to take more journalism classes(GPA in my major: 3.8), I used to work in a comic/gaming store and still have a weakness for anime. I love to edit video, for what it's worth. I also homebrew, which means I've got a taste for fine alcohol and can discuss boozemaking for hours on end.
Degree: BA in Journalism, minors in Sociology and Religious Studies
Feel free to ask anything, I'm pretty open.

Tue, November 8, 2005 - 6:01 PMI'm one of the Mal'Ganis Horde. If I recall correctly, we're one of the only servers where Horde outnumber the Alliance by a wide margin. Pretty fun, but AV almost never comes up as it's nearly impossible to find 20 Alliance. -

The thing Alliance players don't seem to realize is that the Alliance are racist, destructive bastards.
Dwarves: cause environmental destruction EVERYWHERE
Humans: tried to kill everything nonhuman in the world
Gnomes: nuked their own people, Gnomeregan is still hideously toxic
Night Elves: stuck-up pointy-eared bastards
On the other hand,
Orcs: trying to scratch out a non-conquering related living in the wasteland
Trolls: no homeland either, trying to survive with the orcs
Tauren: pacifists who're nothing big, big cow-hippies
Forsaken: all right, they're pretty evil
Okay, my geek is really showing now. Who else loves good booze? I brew a fantastic mead. -

In A General chat anywhere you can always pick out those certain people that dont fit in, as in non-horde :P But theres always the rotten people on alliance AND horde that you just wanna go up to their house and hit their computer with a baseball bat... I think I love horde more, although I have one alliance charactor along with my hordies. But to tell you the truth, Cows are my favorite of all :D! "MOO!" -

Wed, November 9, 2005 - 10:37 AMbecause those girls *already have* their horde characters, and you want to be able to fully appreciate the ENTIRE experience with them, starting from the lowest levels, and since you wouls want to have new experiences together, yyou would do alliance so as not to do the same old quests over again. *plus* then you'll get to spend even more time sitting next to them, bathed in the purplish light of elven forests, LANning away to your hearts content, as you ping your characters in an ever-glorious upward spiral, together.
can you tell this is one geekgirl who was lured into playing alliance by some especially suave geekboy? ;)
now we run around as rezbian elves. (he's a female priest, I'm a female druid) -

If Barrens is a pit of inanity on other servers as well, perhaps there's a larger trend that can be extrapolated. Is there anything similar on the Alliance side? -
