I lurv Freaks & Geeks! It was so hard to keep up with the musical chairs they played with it's schedule, I never knew if when i tuned in at the time I saw it last week if it was going to be there or if I had to find out when the new time-slot was and then they added insult to injury and cancelled it. Grrrrrr! I'm glad it's on DVD now though. I've seen a few episodes and am waiting for the rest to come through my Netflix pipes.

this was an AMAZING show. great, quirky, outrageous writing. it's shocking that it ever was on television (since TV sucks) and not surprising it went off the air.

i'm just discovering it now through netlix and i can't get enough. truly addictive. i love how unexpected it is. the only thing i'm not sure i love about it is the main character's parents. they're just SO awful and off-base, it's implausible. but at times funny.

one funny repeated thing throughout the show is all the outrageous sexual double entendres and even weird stuff the parents say to the kids, like "tell your brother he has a beautiful body." or "lindsay is out with her father doing something. i don't know what they're doing, but they're doing it!" or "it hurt at first when you got on top, but you stayed up!" (cindy to main boy character). or "your rocket is so big!" "oh, i hadn't noticed."
