It's about time. I have an Italian half-sister with dual citizenship. When she was talking about moving here, I told here the most fucked up thing about America was that there were 12 inches in a foot, 5,280 feet in a mile and I had no idea how many tablespoons in a fluid ounce, or vice versa. I learned the metric system in the 4th grade, and they promised me I'd be in the last generation of Americans who would need to know the old standard, or need to convert. That was 43 years ago.

I guess it'll happen about the same time those Dvorak keyboards come rolling off the assembly line.
